While we're very proud of our web hosting, and our reseller web hosting, we realise people have different needs...and different budgets.

Lets take our smallest reseller web hosting package as an example. The cost of this package is R400 per month, and it includes all the bells and whistle. You get WHM (Web Host Manager), Cpanel for you and your clients, as well as WHMCS, the industry standard billing software for web hosters. WHMCS really is a great piece of software and with it you can set your billing manager to automatically accept paypal and credit card payments (as well as other gateways), auto setup of domains, and auto setup of web hosting accounts when someone orders (and pays).

For most resellers we recommend WHMCS, but, we realise that some designers and developers already have billing systems in place. You also don't mind setting the web hosting accounts up yourself in WHM, after all, it only takes about 5 minutes! So, you really don't NEED a billing manager.

For others, you would like a billing manager, but you'd also like to cut costs. You don't mind using an alternative to WHMCS, even if it is a fairly simplistic one. For that, there are free, opensource alternatives available, and we'd be happy to recommend one!

How much does reseller web hosting cost without WHMCS?

The WHMCS component of the reseller accounts is R150 / month. So, if you would like to order reseller hosting and you are sure you don't need WHMCS, please open a support ticket before ordering so we can get you started without the billing manager (or with a free opensource alternative). So, our 50Gb package would cost R250 per month, and the 100Gb package would cost R500, etc.

But what does PHP-Web-Host.com recommend?

Honestly, we recommend that you take the WHMCS component. It will make your job much, much easier. However, particularly in the beginning, you might decide to go without a billing manager, or with a free version.
